Thank you for sharing this origin story!!! Congrats on completing the challenge - curious how you feel about it and how it’s impacted your trajectory (beyond what you’ve shared on what you’ll be writing about here).
Also didn’t realize we are both ENTPS!!!! I love the description on ENTP brain operating “theory first, practice second”
Overall, I'm pleased, but not satisfied. I have a long way to go to building a consistent writing practice that moves FASTER. But, I learned a lot:
* Writing makes you a better writer over time. Iterations help you improve.
* Writing quickly doesn't mean each piece will be good.
* Readers actually have a high tolerance for longer short stories. I thought attention spans would be low so I focused on 500-1000 words stories that can be read within 5 min, there is a real appetite for longer stories, if they are of high quality.
* Reading different styles helps you learn. I like to Bruce Lee my writing. Learn from all the different styles and take what works best for you from each. There is no pride in the ONE way to write. Just write in the way that each specific story demands.
* Marketing my stories is hard and I need to improve :D
Plenty more to break down, but those are some of the immediate lessons.
