The older I get, the more I feel that this is true for all of life, from birth to death. And each person has their spiky skillset that makes them better at some aspects and worse at others throughout life, but we are all thrown weird confluences of situations that expose us in one way or another and it's usually more about how we react to them than whether we can avoid them.
